    video and film time calculation widget for addition and substraction of timecode at different frame rates.   version 1.2   |   2009-04-22   |   download (145 kb)

FrameRateCalcTool 1.2 preview improved interface.
supports non integer values as frame rate now.


usage
1)   select value for frames/sec (fps).
2)   in the first text field enter a timecode value: hours (hh), minutes (mm), seconds (ss) and frames (ff). separators (:) needn't be entered.
3)   in the second text field enter the timecode to be calculated.
4)   choose to add or to substract the second timecode.
5)   start calculation by clicking "=" or by pressing the tab-key.
6)   the result in the output field can be used directly (for example) in final cut pro by copying and pasting.

usage

3)   start calculation by pressing the tab key or by selecting a new target framerate.

all featured widgets are developed with mac os x 10.4.

since i am a private developer i cannot give any guarantee for their functionality – they work fine on my machine, though.
use them at your own risk.

top    installation
   
1)   download the .zip file.
2)   locate the .zip file in the finder and extract it by double clicking on it.
3)   double click the decompressed file. after confirming the install dialogue the widget will be installed into the appropriate system folder.
4)   keep the .zip file for further usage (the decompressed file will be deleted upon installation).
5)   enjoy the widget.

mac os x 10.4 tiger or later is required. if you’re using safari, click the download link. when the widget download is complete, show dashboard, click the plus sign to display the widget bar and click the widget’s icon in the widget bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than safari, click the download link. when the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /library/widgets/ in your home folder. show dashboard, click the plus sign to display the widget bar and click the widget’s icon in the widget bar to open it.
